Illusion
There are those who feel illusion is a falsehood, deceptive. Perhaps those who have this attitude are actually paranoid that they are somehow missing something or being deceived.
Does the Pea hen feel deceived when the Peacock with all his plumage is actually just a little grey bird like her?
Or does she laugh at the pretence and work the Peacock must go through to obtain and maintain his illusion.
I applaud illusion. It takes so little to be plain/normal, it takes a lot to create an illusion.
It’s the motivation that is the culprit of dissention.
