On the family side we had Joy's first birthday. What a great time that was. She is soooo cute.

On the sewing side. . .I completed the boy's pirate costumes. Even was lucky enough to find a Disney store Captain hook coat Kentucky's size at goodwill for only $4. SCORE!!
Chrystal and I have started our corsets.

I started Cameron's skirt without any measurements. . . .completed it to the point of needing waist closure and hem. Did the fitting yesterday on her. ..and. . .it fit. the waist was only 1/2 inch off and the hem was spot on. SCORE!!! wow, I love it when I can do that. not only did it fit, but she loves it. For being such a hippy she is still a girly girl. She loves the ruffles. In fact her comment was. . .you don't get these (ruffles) in the SCA. How true that is.
So tonight I will work on the corset and the Halloween invitations.
My plan is to have my corset done by this weekend as well as Cameron's skirt and my skirt I need to start.
Hmm. . .. . . how much midnight oil do I have in the lamp. . . ???
