Last Sunday was the Juno Awards, the Canadian music awards equal to US Grammy's. Amoung the many well deserving winners was one that you may find VERY surprising. Barenaked Ladies. . . .BNL? "WHAT?" you say. . .not surprising? Well when you learn they won for a CHILDREN's album then you may actually be surprised. Yes. . children's. Like Pixar, BNL has found a way to be in the Children's genre and yet be just as entertaining to adults. Listen closely to the words (and in the video watch the graphics) and you too will be laughing and giggle. . .for all the "right/wrong" reasons. My family Easter baskets for all the grandchildren are going to include this CD. I am sure their parents are going to enjoy it as much as the kids will.
